legal alert: Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards and Non-Domestic Landlords

From 1 April 2018 new energy efficiency regulations for non-domestic properties require that landlords must ensure their properties have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E before a new lease can be granted. From the 1 April 2023, all properties with existing leases that are occupied by a tenant will also need to fulfil these requirements.
