David specialises in resolving contentious matters. He has extensive experience of all forms of legal proceedings including the traditional processes of litigation and arbitration, and more modern but increasingly familiar techniques such as adjudication and alternative forms of dispute resolution including mediation.
A significant volume of David’s work is performed for clients from within the housebuilding sector, including a number of the leading national and regional developers. He has particular expertise in relation to defective foundation claims, having advised in connection with several matters of this nature.
He has been instructed in relation to consultant professional negligence actions and is well-versed in sector-specific issues including NHBC warranty claims.
In addition to casework, David regularly presents seminars and workshops to clients, contacts and other professional bodies.
David is an avid reader of all manner of books, but especially history and travel writing. He is a dab hand in the kitchen, with a flavour for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
