We retain Richard Sowler, an independent pracising barrister* and a former partner in the firm, to provide tax services to clients. He has over 30 years' experience in tax law, with particular expertise in asset and loan finance, mergers and acquisitions, international structuring and personal tax.
Richard provides thorough, innovative and practical tax law advice for organisations throughout the UK. Watson Burton has offices in Newcastle, Leeds and London. Tax advice is delivered on a stand-alone basis and as part of the firm's representation on transactions.
He has experience of advising on the full spectrum of corporate financing, investment and real estate transactions as well as transfer pricing. In addition to corporate tax expertise, he offers advice on VAT and other indirect taxes and on private client tax issues.
