Andrea is a partner in the Construction & Engineering Department. She has almost 10 years experience in the field of Construction and Engineering handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. Andrea's particular expertise is dealing with non-contentious project work including PFI projects. Andrea advises developers, contractors and members of the design team on domestic and international building and engineering projects and PFI projects in the education, leisure and healthcare sectors.

Andrea has extensive experience advising in relation to large scale developments. Her expertise is advising on procurement of projects; standard forms of building and engineering contracts e.g. JCT, ICE, NEC, MF1 and FIDIC; drafting and advising on project specific bespoke forms of contract; service supply contracts; sub-contract terms and consultancy agreements; design team appointments; bonds and guarantees, collateral warranties and third party rights and providing funding support.

Andrea advises a number of high profile clients including Parsons Brinckerhoff, McNulty Offshore, Imtech, Sir Robert McAlpine and Cleveland Bridge. Recent projects worked on include negotiation of contracts relating to an off-shore oil-rig platform, advising on engineering contracts & tenders in the Middle East and Asia, advising contractors, design team members and Facilities Management contractors on numerous UK PFI & BSF projects including the Academies programme.

Andrea frequently presents seminars to members of various industry bodies.
